Igniting Interprofessional Collaboration: Strategic Impact Starts with Us


The National Academies of Practice (NAP) is the alliance of healthcare professionals who are collaborating to transform health and wellbeing. The NAP Forum seeks to promote collaboration across and among individuals engaged in interprofessional practice within clinical, educational, scholarship, research, and/or policy settings. It is designed to empower individuals and collaborative teams, with emphasis on the following four themes: Health Communication/Health Literacy; Overall Health and Wellbeing; Evidence-based Screening and Prevention; and Healthcare Access and Quality.

Forum Outcomes

  • Enhance Interprofessional Collaboration: Attendees will gain knowledge and skills to effectively collaborate with professionals from diverse healthcare disciplines; improving health outcomes through integrated care approaches.
  • Facilitate Interprofessional Networking: Attendees will engage in networking activities designed to build professional relationships and collaborative opportunities in interprofessional healthcare.
  • Inspire Innovation within Thematic Areas: Attendees will explore innovative strategies related to the Forum themes, empowering them to implement new ideas and drive advancements in interprofessional education, scholarship, research, practice, and public policy.
