Luis Carlos Montalvań was inducted into the NAP, along with his beloved service dog "Tuesday" during the 2016 Annual Induction ceremony. We are especially pleased to share with you that Luis was involved in the filming of a documentary, "Buried Above Ground", that focuses on the impact of PTSD and the journey of three individuals, including Luis. Though Luis has passed away his story remains one of incredible courage in overcoming debilitating trauma.
Part of the programming for the NAP Annual Meeting & Forum will include a free film showing and discussion on Friday, March 17th 2017, from 8:30-10:30 PM.
NAP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education. NAP maintains responsibility for this program and its content. You can register for continuing education credits here.
